Open Alpaca Barn & Shearing -
at Alpacas of Oregon in Sherwood,
May 26-27 19th, Saturday & Sunday, 10 am - 4 pm
Alpacas, fleece, yarn, scarves, sweaters, socks, and more
That's right!

We are co-hosting the Open Barn at Alpacas of Oregon in Sherwood.
In the midst of Washington County's wine country, the farm is
conveniently located to provide a pleasant break from the annual
winery tours.

You're invited to meet the alpaca babies and their mothers and watch
as they get their annual haircuts on Sunday.

Check out the proud papas - our alpaca herdsires.

Get nose to nose with less expensive "fiber boys" -
alpacas for fiber artists, 4-H, companions, or
pasture ornaments and lawn mowers.

Browse at the Barn Store - get your hands on the
luxurious alpaca products: fleece and roving for
handspinners, yarn for knitters, sweaters, scarves, socks, and more,
many handcrafted. This is your chance to do some out-of-the-ordinary
shopping.

Watch as fleece is prepared for spinning, then handspun into beautiful
yarn. Bring your spindle or wheel - or borrow ours - and give it a try for
yourself.

Talk with long-time breeders - Linda & Barry Bolewicz from EasyGo
Farm and Suzanne & Doug Campbell of Alpacas of Oregon.

If you're curious about fiber producing animals - sheep, goats, alpacas
- we've raised them all and love to talk about them.
Wake up, Mom!
We're having an Open Barn.
